Żurrieq FC collected their first points in a 2-1 win over Mtarfa FC at the Sirens Stadium.

After two defeats, The Reds were looking to grab points from this match in order to keep progressing in the season. Thanks to skipper Darmanin, managed to put Żurrieq up front but few moments later Mtarfa and the two teams went for the half time break with a goal each.

During the second half, Żurrieq pushed more forward to score the winning goal. After several chances wasted it was Zammit which came in the match as a substitute who score the winning goal thanks to assist from skipper Darmanin.
